The Gaymers Community is dedicated to providing a safe and fun environment to everyone. A player’s sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, philosophical beliefs, or any unique characteristic should never be used to make them feel unwanted. The community moderators and leadership team take reports of discrimination very seriously, and they do the utmost to foster an environment of open-mindedness, mutual respect, and compassion.

The Gaymers Community was founded in September of 2015 by Jonas (Pink) and Paul (Sardian). They believed that there was a noticeable lack of inclusive gaming communities, especially for LGBTQ+ players. With that in mind, they created the original World of Warcraft guild, Gaymers United, on the Proudmoore-US realm — a server renown for being a hub of LGBTQ+ inclusiveness.

Who can join?

In accordance with the mission, the Gaymers Community does not restrict membership based on player’s unique characteristics. While the community was originally created with LGBTQ+ members specifically in mind, players of any sexuality are more than welcome. The only requirement is that players are able to be mutually respectful and maintain an open mind. The community will not, however, tolerate players that themselves practice intolerance and discrimination.
